30-03 US Caliber was the Immediate Predecessor of the 30-06 Cartridge.
30-03 was a slightly longer cartridge case than the 06 using a 220 Grain Bullet, 30-06 can be fired in this Rifle.

Nice Stock, Wear to Finish. Browning on Receiver.
Dark Bore, Strong Rifling.
It appears to be Operational and Serviceable, however this Gun is over 100 years old and we recommend inspection by a gunsmith before firing.
